As a Buddhist Ayurvedic Practitioner, we must strive to uphold and protect the following Eight Guidelines : 1. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must free him/herself from the motives of personal fame and profit.

2. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must cultivate a respectful and sincere attitude free from arrogance and conceit.

3. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must refrain from aggrandizing his/her healing practice and denigrating that of others.

4. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must not establish him/herself as the standard of correctness in practice and suppress the healing work of others with his or her fault-finding.

5. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must take the Buddha-mind as his/her own mind.

6. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must use the wisdom of Dharma-Selecting Vision to determine true principles.

7. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must request Virtuous Elder Healers from the ten directions and from the three period of time (past, present, and future) to sanctify and certify his/her healing work.

8. A Buddhist Ayurveda Practitioner must endeavour to propagate the Proper Buddhist Ayurveda teachings (Healing Dharma) by teaching the Proper Healing Dharma within their understanding and capacity , by selflessly caring for the sick and afflicted, by making great awesome Bodhisattva Healer vows that span countless lifetimes, and by printing and distributing Sutras, Shastra texts, and Vinaya texts.
