buffer

Buffer

Computing

“A region of storage used to hold data. IO facilities often store input (or output) in a buffer and read or write the buffer independently from actions in the program. Output buffers can be explicitly flushed to force the buffer to be written. By default, reading cin flushes cout; cout is also flushed when the program ends normally.” (CppPrmLp 2012)

Disambiguation

Disambiguation in a Wiki is the process of resolving conflicts that arise when a potential article title is ambiguous, most often because it refers to more than one subject covered by this Wiki, either as the main topic of an article, or as a subtopic covered by an article in addition to the article's main topic.
