Karmic obscurations (Tib. ལས་ཀྱི་སྒྲིབ་པ་, Wyl. las kyi sgrib pa) include naturally negative actions and infringements of Three sets of vows | vows. Naturally negative actions block or 'obscure' the temporary attainment of the three higher realms | higher realms. Infringements of vows block the temporary attainment of the higher realms and the ultimate attainment of the three kinds of enlightenment.
